Dictamen
En (el estado indicado por) Kieh se hallará ventaja en el suroeste. Si no se requieren operaciones (ulteriores), habrá buena fortuna en volver (a las antiguas condiciones). Si se requiere alguna operación, habrá buena fortuna en llevarla a cabo pronto.

In (the state indicated by) Kieh advantage will be found in the south-west. If no (further) operations be called for, there will be good fortune in coming back (to the old conditions). If some operations be called for, there will be good fortune in the early conducting of them.

El quinto SEIS, dividido, muestra (a su sujeto), el hombre superior (= el gobernante), ejerciendo su función de apartar (todo lo que es nocivo para la idea del hexagrama), en cuyo caso habrá buena fortuna, y hasta los hombres mezquinos le mostrarán confianza.

Sobre el nombre
«Liberación»: Legge explica que Kieh es el símbolo de soltar o desatar un nudo, es decir, de la situación en que la dificultad anterior ha sido removida.
